Black 5 1/2 Bracket for 634 REVISITED

I know this question was asked in March '01, but as of Dec '01, is there any progress in making a black 5 1/2 mounting bracket for the 634? If it is currently not available, what is the ETA?

I imagine its not viable for CF to make them as there would be very little demand for them.

Spray painting one would be very easy to do.
