question about the lcd.

hey im kinda of a newb to this lcd thingys, i recently bought the CFAG320240C-FMI-T, i woundering do i have to buy any kinda of controller card or do i just solder the serial cables onto it and hook it up to the pc... and run the software? plz help :confused:
