176xRGBx220 262K full-color graphic TFT module. This 2" diagonal TFT display has an integrated controller, and can take images formatted as 18 (262K color), 16(65K color), 12(4K color) bits per pixel.

The connector on the CFAF176220M-T is a flex tail mated with a "COG" (chip on glass) display construction. This style of connector is designed to be soldered directly to corresponding pads on your PCB by using a hot-bar soldering machine. High volume contract manufacturers will be familiar with this type of construction and its assembly methods. There are hot-bar soldering machines made that are designed for prototype, rework or repair work of TAB connections.

Summary:	Part change notification for CFAF176220M-T series of TFT LCD modules
Description:	Revised datasheet, minor changes to non-controller related information.
Reason:	Sitronix ST7773 not being used any longer, display is now using an Orise Tech OTM2201A.
Impact:	Because of the LCD controller change, a change to the initialization and functional code (write / read code changes, also CGRAM write, etc.) minor changes will be required. This change is pin-compatible with the previous version of this display, no change to the circuit will be necessary.
Recommendation:	Use code found on page as an example for the new controller.
