USB Driver Download and Installation

This document describes downloading and installing the USB drivers needed to install a Crystalfontz USB display.

You should download and install the drivers as detailed in this document before connecting your Crystalfontz USB display. If you have already connected the display before installing the drivers, please disconnect the display, download and install the drivers as detailed in this document, then reconnect the display.

This document is written using Internet Explorer and Windows 2000. Other browers or operating systems will follow a similar pattern.

The first step is to download the self-installing driver file from the Crystalfontz web site by clicking on the following link.

Your browser should give you a warning similar to the one shown below. Click on the "Open" button to continue.

When the download completes, the installer will launch automatically.

The self-installing driver file will then display a screen similar to the image below. Click on "Install" to proceed.

The drivers automatically copy to your local disk in the directory
"C:\Program Files\Crystalfontz USB Drivers".

Click "Finish" to complete the installation.
