Sunplus Controller Discontinued

The Sunplus SPLC780D controller was discontinued by the manufacturer and replaced by the Sitronix ST7066U. Modules with the discontinued controller have part numbers ending in "JP" while modules with the new controller end in "JT."

New part numbers ending in "JT" are mechanically and optically compatible with the old "JP." In order to assure electrical compatibility of the "JT" in your application, you should be aware of the following differences:
