EVE Bar-Type TFT Development Kit

Part Number: CFAF480128A0-039TC-A1-2

This bar-type TFT development kit includes everything you need to get started prototyping and building with the 480x128 accelerated display module . This development kit includes the bar-type display module with the accelerator board connected an EVE Breakout Board connected to a Seeeduino loaded with demo code. Once you receive the development kit, all you need to do to get the demo kit running is check the connections and plug in the included USB cable.

Description:	This is an update to change notice #11113. (https://www.crystalfontz.com/news/pcn.php?id=11113) The capacitive touch controller has gone EOL and is being replaced by a new touch controller. The firmware for the helper processor on our circuit board is also being modified to account for the new touch controller. The touch controller is translated by the helper processor and does not connect to the EVE so no changes to external software need to be made. The part numbers are changing as follows. CFAF480128A0-039TC-A1-1 -> CFA480128E0-039TC CFAF480128A0-039TC-A1-2 -> CFA480128E0-039TC-KIT
Reason:	To prepare for chip shortages, higher MOQs, and cost increases, Crystalfontz has determined to change the touch panel to a touch panel with a different touch controller.

Product Update #11065: Firmware update.

Summary:	Firmware update.
Description:	The change is firmware only and the only change is to turn the backlight off until after the initialization of the display.
Reason:	If power is provided to the display the backlight is on until the initialization is sent. We have modified the firmware so the display stays off until the end-user has the ability to control the backlight.
