| Description: |
As part of our continuous improvement process, the CFA634 family of modules has been redesigned to fall more in line with our other Value Add families of intelligent modules.
The new firmware for the CFA634 family of modules will retain the same stream based command structure.
Changes:
Control the Boot Screen – Ctrl+I (\009)
This command has increased functionality to include, but not limited to;
- Interface selection
- Baud rate
- Data normal / inverted
- Splash screen
Separate USB and Serial interface builds to support the on-board USB interface design.
With the change from Samsung S6A0073 to Rockworks RW1067, the following commands and functionality are deprecated:
+ Show inverted blinking block cursor – Ctrl+G (\007)
+ Set Scrolling Marquee Characters - Ctrl+U (\021)
+ Enable Scrolling Marquee - Ctrl+V (\022)

The firmware has been revised to support the hardware changes from the Samsung S6A0073 LCD controller to the Rockworks RW1067, and the Holtek HT48R30 one-time-programmable controller being replaced with the Cypress PSoC CY8C27443 for improved functionality. |
