Functional change the BL (Pin 29) |
| Description: |
On the 2BM-10005, the pin that enabled and disabled the backlight (Pin 29) was left floating with the expectation that the host system would drive that line.
On the CFA-10075, that pin is tied to GND using a 1M Ohm resistor.

| Reason: |
Customer feedback has shown that this pin is not always being driven in every situation and the cut over between the 2BM-10005 and the CFA-10075 has caused compatibility issues. |
| Impact: |
Customers not specifically enabling this pin, by driving it high, will find that the backlight does not illuminate. |
| Recommendation: |
It is important to ensure that when using this carrier board, the BL pin should be driven by the host system. Preferably using a GPO in order to actively toggle the backlight. |
