  • Make module ATX
    We will make electrical connection changes on the board to enable ATX power control functionality.

  • Add a USB communication cable with each module?
    For its USB connection, this module uses a standard microUSB-B connector. This type of connector is fairly common. Without a cable, you will not be able to use this module or connect it to your host system.
    Will be added to cart separately.

  • Add the CFA-RS232 daughter board?
    The CFA835 supports USB and serial communications simultaneously. The native serial interface is logic level (0-5v). Adding the CFA-RS232 daughter board will make the serial interface full swing RS-232.
    Will change part number.

    (If you add this option, you will no longer be able to power the CFA835 via the USB header. You will need to provide +3.3v ~ +5.0v via H1.)
  • Add a set of serial communication cables with each module?
    These cables provide communication to the display.



  • Add a power cable with each module?
    Add a WR-PWR-Y24 to supply power to each module.
    (You need a power cable for this module to work in your host system.)

  • Add a ATX power cable for each module?
    This cable will provide power to the CFA835, along with connectivity for the sytem power on / off / reset feature of the selected ATX functionality.

    This cable, or compatible, is required for the CFA835 to operate with the ATX Functionality option selected.

    Will be added as a separate line item.

    (This cable is 11in / 295mm long and is used when the CFA631 is close to the system board power pins..)
    (This cable is 2 ft 11in / 905mm (almost 1M) long and is used when the CFA735 is quite a ways to the system board power pins or additional length for cable routing is needed. Ideal for rack mount chassis.)
  • Add a ATX power cable for each module?
    RS232
    This cable will provide power to the CFA835, along with connectivity for the system power on / off / reset feature of the selected ATX functionality.

    This cable, or compatible, is required for the CFA835 to operate with the ATX Functionality option selected.

    Will be added as a separate line item.

  • Add a FBSCAB and WR-EXT-Y37 cable.
    The System Cooling Accessory Board (FBSCAB) is required to control fans and read temperature sensors for the 835 Series. It is optional for achieving ATX functionality and separating the power supply from USB.

  • Add a WR-PWR-Y12 power cable for each FBSCAB?
    In order to use the module and FBSCAB, you must supply power through a cable. The Y12 cable allows you to plug a 4-pin hard drive style Molex® power connector into the FBSCAB's floppy drive style power connector, plus provides an additional female 4-pin Molex connector.

  • Add up to 4 WR-FAN-X01 cables to the FBSCAB
    A maximum of 4 fan control cables can be connected at once. Only valid if you chose the option to add a FBSCAB.

  • Add up to 32 WR-DOW-Y17 cables to each FBSCAB
    A maximum of 32 temperature sensor cables can be connected at once to each SCAB.

  • Mount the CFA835 into a drive bay bracket or SLED?
    The 5 1/4" drive bay bracket supports mounting of the optional CFA-FSCAB (we will mount it for you if ordered as a build option), comes with a black plastic overlay and mounting hardware.

    The SLED is a deluxe bracket that is the approximate size of a CD-ROM. It will hold your CFA835, optional CFA-FBSCAB (we will mount it for you if ordered as a build option), and a 3 1/2 in. hard drive (not included), into a single 5 1/4 in. drive bay. It ships with a black plastic overlay and mounting hardware.
