800x480 4.3" Resistive Touchscreen EVE TFT Display

This 4.3" TFT display module with a resistive touch screen uses the embedded video engine (EVE) chip BT817 from Bridgetek to simplify the control of the display, touch, backlight, and audio.

The BT817 allows simple SPI commands to control this 800x480 display with full graphics and text. Plus, Bridgetek provides a suite of development tools to help make designing user interfaces easier.

The included 4.3" TFT display is sunlight readable with a bright backlight at 740 nits. It is IPS, so it can be used at any viewing angle without color inversion. The resistive touchscreen allows users to input information, even if they are wearing gloves or there is moisture on the screen.

A single 30-pin ZIF connector brings out all the signals necessary for the display, touch, and backlight. The PCB also includes four threaded mounts (size 2-56) to secure this module into a final design.
